In a limited period starting in 1963, Rollei products were represented in the USA by Honeywell, a company specialized in electronic products such as flash lights. In cooperation with Rollei, Honeywell developed a revolutionary new technology: the first computer controlled flash light. This co-operation has led to a situation where, in the 1960s and 1970s, Rollei had become the worlds largest manufacturer of flash lights. |
